This academy aims to teach students transferable practical engineering skills: along with a framework for innovation. Projects may include interactive technology, complex machines, and stunning installations.

Featured Class: Exploration of Artificial Intelligence

Throughout this course, students will learn the basics of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Chatbots. They will train and program their virtual character using Scratch and Machine Learning for Kids. Students will explore text, voice, and image recognition as they craft realistic AI chatbots.

Student Outcomes

At the end of three years, Design & Engineering students will be able to:

Utilize the Engineering Design process

Create new devices and gadgets

Use technological devices such as computers, scanners, cameras, and 3D printers

Work collaboratively with others

Create a sound action plan

Present a strong argument supported by a rationale
